Improved User Activity Overview
This feature is available with Administration.
Flexera One now provides organization administrators with clearer insight into user activity that is specific to their own organization. With this enhancement, it is easier to review and understand when users last interacted within your Flexera One environment. This improvement supports more accurate audits and compliance reviews, helping organizations maintain a secure and well-governed environment.

Flexera One now ingests Databricks billing and compute data
This feature is available as an early‑access capability for Databricks on AWS. Customers receive access automatically and do not need to contact Flexera Support to enable it. We're actively working to improve this capability, and your feedback is welcome.
Flexera One now supports ingestion of billing and compute data from Databricks through a Databricks bill Connect. With this capability, you can allocate costs, identify waste, and analyze your Databricks spend in detail.
The Databricks bill connect is only available for Databricks on AWS. Support for other cloud vendors will be added in future releases.

System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) for automated user provisioning and deprovisioning
This feature is available with Administration.
Flexera One now supports System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) for automated user provisioning and deprovisioning. This feature enables seamless automation of user lifecycle management by connecting Flexera One to external identity providers, streamlining user onboarding and offboarding based on changes in your external system.
The SCIM integration supports comprehensive user and group management operations, including creating, updating, and removing users and groups automatically based on changes in your identity provider.
This feature leverages existing Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities and introduces a new SCIM Operator role specifically designed to manage SCIM API resources.
Currently, SCIM integration with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) is supported.

Cloud Commitment Management
Cloud Commitment Management released the following enhancement in December 2025.
Updates to AWS policy
This enhancement is available with Cloud Commitment Management.
Branding and privilege structure of the read-only AWS CloudFormation template used in onboarding is updated. You now have more insight into what's optional, required, and why with the default template.
Cloud Cost Optimization
Cloud Cost Optimization released the following features and enhancements in December 2025.
FinOps KPIs now available in Cloud Cost Optimization
This feature is available with Cloud Cost Optimization.
Flexera One introduces the new FinOps KPIs page (Cloud > Cost Optimization > FinOps KPIs), providing real-time, vendor-specific KPIs and visualizations for current and historical (up to 12 months) cloud spend, usage, and optimization. This feature enables FinOps practitioners to instantly access and track key metrics tailored to each cloud provider, eliminating manual data exports and empowering faster, data-driven decisions for cloud cost management and optimization.
This page tracks the following key metrics, giving you a comprehensive view of spend and optimization trends across your cloud environments.

Carbon forecasting now available in the Cloud Sustainability Impact Intelligence Report
This enhancement is available with Cloud Cost Optimization.
The Cloud Sustainability Impact Intelligence Report now includes a new Forecast page. (In Flexera One, click Sustainability > Cloud Sustainability Impact Intelligence > Forecast.)
This page shows your actual versus forecast carbon emissions for your organization's cloud usage. View current, future, and historical emissions data on a single page. Filter the content by cloud vendor, region, category, and resource type.
With this cloud carbon forecasting view, you can transform how your organization manages its carbon sustainability by treating your carbon emissions as currency. Just as finance teams forecast budgets, track spending, and analyze variances, cloud sustainability teams can now forecast carbon emissions, monitor actual consumption, and identify deviations from targets.

Flexera One has introduced the FinOps Landing Page to provide a single, actionable starting point for managing and optimizing cloud costs. This page consolidates the most-used FinOps workflows and key cost insights, helping you move quickly from insight to action without navigating multiple pages.
The landing page reduces friction by bringing critical insights and actions into one view. You can easily identify issues, understand where spend is going, and take immediate steps to optimize and allocate costs.
Cloud License Management
Cloud License Management released the following enhancement in December 2025.
Increased visibility into spending, licensing and savings for Cloud License Management
This enhancement is available with Cloud License Management.
Cloud License Management now enables organizations to view and analyze software usage, spend, and licensing data by business context using billing center, rule-based, or tag-based dimensions configured in the cloud settings. This enhancement allows team leads and business owners to quickly access relevant insights tailored to their specific business units, enabling informed, data-driven decisions to optimize costs, manage licensing risks, and identify savings opportunities.
Key features:
- Smarter Decisions with Flexera One CLM Business Context
- Expanded CLM Business Context now includes Billing Center, Rule-Based, and Tag dimensions.
- Complete and relevant visibility into software usage, license positions, and spend for business owners.
- Ready-to-use, actionable insights with no extra effort required.
Previously, Cloud License Management only supported cost center dimensions, limiting visibility and requiring manual effort to add business context. Now, users can automatically filter data by their organization's unique structure, increasing productivity and supporting chargeback/showback initiatives.

Software spend now includes software cost running on Azure reserved instances
This enhancement is available with Cloud License Management.
You can now capture Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) software costs alongside existing Bring Your Own License (BYOL) costs for supported products running on Microsoft Azure reserved instances in Cloud License Management. This enhancement provides a more complete and accurate view of your overall cloud software spend.
Additionally, any applicable software discounts are automatically applied, ensuring reported costs align with actual charges. This improvement enhances forecasting accuracy, supports better optimization decisions, and strengthens cross-cloud cost governance.

Flexera One API
Flexera One API released the following enhancement in December 2025.
Visibility and Control over Active Refresh Tokens for Administrators
This enhancement is available with Flexera One API.
This enhancement introduces new API endpoints that provide organization owners with critical visibility and control over the active refresh tokens within their Flexera One environment.
Previously, administrators lacked the ability to audit or manage refresh tokens issued to users across their organization, creating security and compliance gaps—especially during audits or when responding to access concerns.
With this release, you can now:
- Retrieve a comprehensive list of all users with active refresh tokens within their organization, along with key metadata.
- Proactively revoke refresh tokens for any non-external users, directly via API, enabling rapid response to potential security risks or personnel changes.
- Ensure all revocation actions are fully audit-logged, supporting traceability and compliance requirements.
By providing centralized oversight and management of API access tokens, this feature significantly strengthens organizational security posture. It also aligns with best practices for access control and data protection, ensuring that only authorized users retain programmatic access to sensitive resources.

Flexera One SaaS Management
Flexera One SaaS Management released the following enhancement in December 2025.
Custom fields for Applications
This feature is available with Flexera One SaaS Management.
Flexera One SaaS Management now provides the ability to define and manage custom fields for applications, enabling more tailored and efficient user data tracking:
- Create and manage custom fields: Admins can now create custom fields for applications directly within Snow Atlas
- Edit and delete fields: Custom fields for applications can be edited (e.g., change field type or default value) or deleted when no longer needed
- Populate and view custom data: Values can be added to custom fields and viewed directly on the main application page, ensuring key meta data is always accessible.
- Filter, sort, and export: Custom fields are now available in application table views, allowing users to filter, sort, and export user data for more efficient reporting and analysis.
- Field recommendations: When adding custom fields to applications, admins are shown a list of existing fields to promote consistency and reuse across the estate.
ServiceNow use verification report now includes users with direct role assignments
This enhancement is available with Flexera One SaaS Management.
The Use verification tab for ServiceNow subscriptions now distinguishes between direct role assignments and group-inherited roles. This added visibility helps eliminate blind spots in compliance reporting, since directly assigned roles are not fully reflected in ServiceNow's entitlement and licensing calculations.
The following enhancements have been introduced:
- A new column on the Use verification tab that shows the number of users per subscription with directly assigned roles.
- Within each subscription's details, a column now identifies users with direct role assignments, and an indicator card summarizes the total number of directly assigned users.
Multi-purchase and tiered pricing under one subscription
This enhancement is available with Flexera One SaaS Management.
Flexera One SaaS Management now supports recording multiple purchases within a single subscription, eliminating manual workarounds and improving cost accuracy:
- Add multiple purchases under the same subscription, each with its own start date, quantity, and cost
- Track staggered license purchases and tiered pricing without creating separate subscriptions
- Maintain full visibility into subscription growth and purchasing patterns for better financial insights
Bulk update user fields through data import
This enhancement is available with Flexera One SaaS Management.
Flexera One SaaS Management now supports bulk updates for user-level data, including both fixed and custom fields, making it easier to maintain accurate and consistent user information across platforms:
- Upload a CSV file in Data Imports to update multiple users in one action
- Generate import templates directly from the Users page to ensure correct formatting and field mapping
- Populate values for custom fields without manual entry for each user in SaaS Management, and also populate those fields using data from SAM Core for the same users
Flexera One ServiceNow App
Flexera One app version 1.7 patch release

A patch for the Flexera One ServiceNow App 1.7 has been released. The patch introduces enhancements to the classification of the Virtual Machines hardware category from the IT Visibility Hardware Inventory API within ServiceNow. These changes refines the classification of Virtual Machines to provide more accurate mapping, and they improve the reliability and consistency of hardware inventory classification data.

New PowerShell Cmdlets for working with the GraphQL API
This enhancement is available with IT Visibility With Technology Intelligence Platform
We now offer PowerShell cmdlets that make it easier to automate queries of your Technology Intelligence Platform data via the GraphQL API. These cmdlets simplify authentication, allow you to run queries directly from PowerShell, handle pagination automatically, and return consistent JSON-style output for easy automation and integration with ITAM and ITSM workflows.

Process Inventory Data Now Available in IT Visibility
This feature is available with IT Visibility With Technology Intelligence Platform.
Customers can now view detailed process inventory data ingested from the Flexera Inventory agent directly within IT Visibility. This enhancement allows customers to see which processes are running across all environments and the associated software, directly within their dashboards.
With normalized process data available through the Technology Intelligence Platform, customers can make more informed decisions about software usage, security, and compliance. The update also includes enhancements to the GraphQL API, and it helps optimize resource allocation, improve operational visibility, and strengthen governance across the organization.
CloudHardwareInfoRule Computer Matching Rule Available in IT Visibility
This feature is available with IT Visibility With Technology Intelligence Platform.
Flexera introduces CloudHardwareInfoRule, a new computer matching rule which uses cloud-specific identifiers—Instance ID, Account ID, and Provider, to accurately match and normalize cloud devices, even when traditional hardware identifiers are missing or inconsistently populated. By ensuring uniqueness across accounts and providers, customers gain a more consistent and reliable view of their cloud assets. This enhancement strengthens asset visibility and supports better operational, security, and compliance outcomes in hybrid IT environments.
Support for File Evidence from Tanium in IT Visibility
This feature is available with IT Visibility With Technology Intelligence Platform.
IT Visibility now ingests and normalizes file evidence collected from Tanium, enabling organizations to achieve more comprehensive software recognition.
This enhancement ensures that file evidence from Tanium is processed alongside other inventory sources, providing a unified and accurate view of your software estate. With improved normalization, customers benefit from increased data accuracy and completeness in IT Visibility dashboards, supporting better compliance, audit readiness, and IT decision-making.

Reorder, hide, and unhide pages in custom reports
This enhancement is available with IT Visibility With Technology Intelligence Platform.
IT Visibility custom reports have been enhanced with the usability improvement that enables you to reorder pages as you require, by simply dragging and dropping them to the desired position. You can also hide and unhide pages in custom reports. This enhancement enables you to tailor the structure of a report, without creating multiple versions, improving flexibility and efficiency in data analysis.
When you reorder, hide, or unhide pages of a custom report, the data integrity and formatting of the report is maintained.
When a report is a duplicate of an out-of-the-box report, which has hidden pages, all pages are visible when you export the file until you edit the report to hide or unhide report pages.

Visibility of Cluster-to-Host relationships in Host and VM Relationship report
This enhancement is available with IT Visibility.
With this enhancement, you now have end-to-end visibility of Cluster-to-Host relationships within the Host and VM Relationship report. Previously, you could only view relationships between Virtual Machines (VMs) and hosts. Now, the report includes clusters and their associated hosts, providing a comprehensive view of your entire virtualization infrastructure.
This visibility enables you to:
- Perform accurate capacity planning by understanding how hosts and VMs are distributed across clusters.
- Optimize resource allocation with insights into cluster-level utilization and grouping.
- Conduct effective impact analysis by tracing dependencies and relationships from clusters to hosts to virtual machines.
This enhancement supports more robust infrastructure reporting and analytics, empowering you to make informed decisions and maximize the value of your virtualization environment.

Autosave for Custom Power BI Reports
This enhancement is available with IT Visibility With Technology Intelligence Platform.
Flexera One now has the Autosave for Custom Power BI Reports to significantly improve the editing experience, reduce repetitive work, and ensure your changes are preserved seamlessly across sessions.
This enhancement ensures that filter selections, slicer updates, personalization changes, and layout edits are automatically saved, allowing users to focus on insights instead of manual actions.
Key benefits:
- No more manual saving. Your edits are automatically captured at configurable intervals, reducing the chance of losing work and eliminating repeated manual save actions.
- Consistent views across sessions. Autosave preferences are now stored per user. Once enabled, the setting persists even after logging out or closing the session to ensure consistent reporting experience every time.
- Optimized and efficient saving. The system performs a save only when needed, reducing redundant save calls and improving performance.
The Autosave feature introduces a more reliable, intuitive, and seamless editing experience for Power BI custom report users. It reduces the risk of lost work, improves consistency, and removes friction from the report editing workflow.

This enhancement is available with IT Visibility With Technology Intelligence Platform.
Added a new dataset called cloudAsset to the GraphQL API query generator. This enhancement enables users to query and manage cloud-related assets more efficiently.

More cloud datasets available via the GraphQL API
This enhancement is available with IT Visibility With Technology Intelligence Platform.
Expanding the inventory data available in GraphQL, we have added the following datasets to the set of cloud datasets you can query with the GraphQL API:
- Cloud Databases
- Cloud Storage
- Cloud Containers
Initially, the Cloud Assets and Cloud Virtual Instances datasets were added in September 2025, and Cloud Assets continues to be the primary cloud asset datasource with Cloud Virtual Instances, Cloud Databases, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Containers being linked with a unique identifier (cloud_asset_id) to the Cloud Assets parent. These new datasets leverage the FOCUS standard (FinOps Open Cost and Usage Specification)—an open specification from the FinOps Foundation for producing consistent cost and usage estimates.

Add slicers to create custom dropdown filters for customized business reports
This enhancement is available with IT Visibility With Technology Intelligence Platform.
You can add a slicer to the pane to create custom dropdown filters. This helps to generate reports to meet specific business requirements. This enhancement makes it easier to create new dropdown filters.

New support for Azure as an out-of-the-box data source
This enhancement is available with IT Visibility with Technology Intelligence Platform.
IT Visibility with Technology Intelligence Platform now supports collecting inventory directly from Azure as an out-of-the-box data source. You can simply create an Azure connection on the External Inventory Connections page (Data Collection > Common Inventory Tasks > External Inventory Connections), sign in to your Azure account, and run the script.

Hyper-V inventory ingestion into Technology Intelligence Platform
This enhancement is available with IT Visibility With Technology Intelligence Platform.
IT Visibility with Technology Intelligence Platform now supports ingestion and normalization of Microsoft Hyper-V VM and host data collected by Flexera Inventory (via ndtrack) and Custom Imports.
This enhancement allows integrated services and applications to leverage VM–Host relationships for improved reporting, analytics, and dependency mapping. Users can now bring their Hyper-V data into IT Visibility for comprehensive insights.

Cloud Inventory Overview for Power BI Reports
This enhancement is available with IT Visibility.
The new Cloud Inventory Overview report delivers a unified, interactive dashboard that consolidates all discovered cloud resources including cloud assets, virtual instances databases, storage and containers, across multiple cloud providers. This enhancement empowers stakeholders with a comprehensive, transparent, and data-driven view of their entire cloud environment.
This enhancement enables you to:
- gain a unified view of all cloud resources that allows you to monitor utilization, identify underused assets, and optimize cloud spend.
- drill-down capabilities and key metrics such as count, type, and utilization for deeper insights and informed decision-making.
- tailor views and exports to your unique business needs.
This release streamlines IT operations by providing consistent, up-to-date information accessible from both the Dashboard and Technology Intelligence Reports sections.

Cloud Inventory Contextualization
Flexera One now supports the Cloud Inventory contextualization, enabling organizations to upload and manage business context data related to cloud inventory. This enhancement allows users to integrate cloud-specific contextual data into their IT Visibility reports and queries for more comprehensive analysis.

OS Evidence and File Evidence for the Inventory Normalization Insights (Sankey) report
This enhancement is available with IT Visibility With Technology Intelligence Platform
The Inventory Normalization Insights (Sankey) report now includes OS Evidence and File Evidence alongside Installer Evidence. This gives you a complete, end to end view of all evidence sources that contribute to software normalization decisions.
With all three evidence types visible, you can more easily trace normalization records, identify evidence coverage gaps, and troubleshoot mismatches or unexpected normalizations with greater confidence and transparency.

Partner Service Layer
Partner Service Layer released the following enhancements in December 2025.
Bill Split dimension now limited to bill source or cloud account identifiers
This enhancement is available with Partner Service Layer.
This enhancement limits the Bill Split rule-based dimension to bill source or cloud account identifiers, improving the accuracy and consistency of cloud cost allocation.
The following dimensions are now the only supported dimensions for bill-splitting, as they directly map cloud spend to individual customers:
- Cloud Vendor Account
- Bill Source
- Billing Account ID
- Customer Tenant ID

This enhancement is available with Cloud Cost Optimization.
Flexera One has introduced the FinOps landing page for MSPs and partners to provide a single, actionable starting point for managing and optimizing cloud costs across both partner-level and customer-level organizations. This experience supports efficient portfolio management while enabling seamless drill-down into individual customer insights.
The landing page reduces friction by consolidating critical workflows and high-level insights into one view, helping you quickly identify issues, monitor spend, and take action across your managed accounts.
Technology Intelligence Platform
Technology Intelligence Platform released the following enhancement in December 2025.
Enhanced Data Explorer Access & Reports Management
This enhancement is available with Technology Intelligence Platform.
Flexera One introduces improvements to the Data Explorer, which now offers improved access controls and saved custom reports management, as well as template reports, making it easier for customers to get their inventory data information from the TI platform.
With this release, a new role called "Manage Data Explorer Reports" has been introduced. This role allows organizations to grant non-admin users the ability to create, save, and manage reports within the Data Explorer. Users with the appropriate permissions can now access all reports generated in their organization, organize reports by use-case, and manage them through a dedicated Custom Reports page.
Key enhancements include:
- Introduction of the Manage Data Explorer Reports role, enabling users to create, edit, duplicate, and delete any report within the organization.
- Saved reports can now be categorized by use-case (such as Hardware, Software, Governance & Risk, Procurement, Security, and Sustainability) and include pre-created names and notes, which users can further customize.
- Enhanced report management features, including the ability to open reports in view or edit mode, group and filter reports, and perform actions such as duplicating, downloading as CSV, and deleting.
In addition, Flexera One now offers several template reports that can help customers get started with data exploration. Currently, the templates are limited to devices and software and will be updated periodically.
These enhancements streamline report management and empower a broader set of users to leverage the full capabilities of Data Explorer for their business needs.
