November 2025
Flexera One introduced the following new features and enhancements this month.
Cloud Commitment Management
Cloud Commitment Management released the following enhancement in November 2025.
AWS strategy management features
This enhancement is available with Cloud Commitment Management.
There are new AWS strategy management features in Cloud Commitment Management. With this update, you can view, review, and approve proposed commitment strategies for your AWS EC2 compute savings plans and reserved instances directly in the dashboard.
Key enhancements include:
- Detailed change logs and approval workflows for transparency and auditing.
- New dashboard components to visualize current strategies and track changes over time.
These improvements empower you and cost specialists to collaborate more effectively on cloud commitment strategies, ensuring alignment and visibility for all stakeholders.
Monthly value report enhancement
The monthly value report now includes Manage your Strategy. This lists the three most recent strategies for a particular org, along with the type of strategy, target and release date to ensure full strategy visibility and a quick call to action to manage strategies in Cloud Commitment Management.
Cloud Cost Optimization
Cloud Cost Optimization released the following enhancement in November 2025.
Potential Savings for Commitments based on payment types now available
This enhancement is available with Cloud Cost Optimization.
Understanding your spend recommendations is the key to optimizing your cloud spend. Using this enhancement, FinOps teams can now view potential savings for commitments based on payment types, helping you make more informed purchasing decisions.
On the Optimization page (Cloud > Cost Optimization > Optimization), the Rate Reduction Savings card now includes additional filters, enabling you to see what you might save per month by using a discount program (such as Reserved Instances or Savings Plans) from a cloud vendor:
-
Commitment type—Reserved Instance or Savings Plan.
-
Commitment term—1 year or 3 years.
-
Payment type—No Upfront, All Upfront, or Partial Upfront.
Previously, the Rate Reduction Savings card showed the potential savings and the number of recommendations, but did not allow filtering by commitment type, commitment term, or payment type.
By applying these filters, you can now focus on the various payment types and purchase options that are important to your organization. This enhancement ensures that you see an accurate sum of potential savings tailored to your business needs.

IT Asset Management
IT Asset Management released the following feature and enhancements in November 2025.
Design Mode for Grid Operations
This feature is available with IT Asset Management.
Design Mode streamlines working with grid data in IT Asset Management by allowing you to filter and search data in a grid without triggering a search after every change, resulting in faster, smoother interactions, and avoiding unnecessary reloads.
This functionality is now available across all grids in IT Asset Management, with the underlying infrastructure updated to support Design Mode.
While Design Mode is active, you can make multiple adjustments before executing a search, such as:
- Add columns to the grid
- Apply filters to refine results
- Group data by specific columns
- Reorder columns to suit your workflow
Normally, each grid action triggers a database call, which can lead to delays with large datasets. Design Mode lets you apply all changes first, then make a single database call when you're ready, reducing wait times and improving efficiency.
All interactions in Design Mode comply with WCAG accessibility standards, ensuring an inclusive and user-friendly experience.
For more details on how to use Design Mode, see Filtering in Design Mode.
Improved visibility for inactive users
This enhancement is available with IT Asset Management.
From this release, the Consumption tab view has been enhanced to include inactive users who are still assigned a license. These users will now appear in the Consumption tab with a consumption value of 0, indicating that while they remain assigned, they do not actively consume due to their inactive status.
This update addresses a key transparency gap and supports several important use cases:
- License Optimization—Identify inactive users assigned by means of M365 or AD groups and initiate cleanup actions, such as revoking SaaS licenses or removing AD group memberships.
- Accurate Reporting—Deliver a complete view of license assignments, even when users are inactive.
- Operational Efficiency—Help application managers make informed decisions without relying on external data sources.
New optional fields added to the SaaS Usage Summary report
This enhancement is available with IT Asset Management.
The SaaS Usage Summary Report in IT Asset Management has been enhanced with several optional fields to provide deeper insights into software usage across your organization. The following fields are now available for inclusion:
- First name
- Last name
- Manager
- Cost center
- Location
- Corporate unit
- Last used date These additional fields enable software asset managers to more effectively track and analyze application usage by location, corporate unit, cost center, and more, supporting better decision-making and improved internal software management.
The SaaS Usage Summary Report offers visibility into user access (within a selected time frame) to applications associated with SaaS user licenses. It's ideal for investigating specific licenses or usage patterns. For more details on the SaaS Usage Summary Report and to see what other metrics are reported on, see SaaS Usage Summary Report.
Enhanced Accessibility
This enhancement is available with IT Asset Management.
This release introduces significant accessibility enhancements that comply with WCAG 2.1 Level A/AA, Section 508, and EU EN 301 549 standards. These updates reinforce our commitment to inclusivity, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver a better experience for all users. Key improvements include enhanced screen reader support, improved contrast, responsive zoom functionality, and full keyboard navigation.
