With the introduction of the detailed billing export, you can now access much more granular billing data compared to the standard export. The detailed export provides a complete split of data, including different credit types (for example, promotional credits) along with additional contextual information. This granular visibility is crucial for accurate financial analysis, enabling you to precisely filter promotional credits and gain deeper insights into your cloud spending.
For more information about the detailed billing export, see Google in the Flexera One Help.
Cloud Commitment Management
Cloud Commitment Management introduced the following new features and enhancements in October 2025.
Monthly value report enhancements
The monthly value email now includes several key data enhancements:
-
It introduces automated action compared with manual action breakdowns by cloud provider (AWS and Azure), adds instance type and start date to expiring commitments, and expands savings visualizations by commitment type.
-
The report also includes top regions and instance types by savings, and improved formatting for reserved instance expiration details.
These updates provide clearer, more actionable insights for FinOps teams reviewing monthly cloud optimization performance.
Cloud License Management
Cloud License Management introduced the following new features and enhancements in October 2025.
AI/ML-driven License Recommendations now available in Flexera One
This feature is available with Cloud License Management
Flexera One Cloud License Management (CLM) now supports AI/ML-based recommendations to help organizations optimize the cost of running Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server in public cloud environments.
This feature allows customers to optimize software spend for each edition by analyzing resource usage and costs over time for each license model. It recommends the most cost-efficient option Bring Your Own License (BYOL) or Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) for workloads across clouds, regions, and business accounts.
Additionally, it provides actionable insights into underutilized BYOL licenses and their associated costs, helping organizations identify waste and take steps to optimize license usage and reduce unnecessary spend.
With these insights, customers can make data-driven decisions that maximize software cost efficiency and ensure workloads run optimally in the cloud.
You can access the recommendations tab by going to Cloud License Management > Software Insights and Spend Optimization > By Product tab > Right-click on any of the Windows Server cards or SQL Server cards > Drill through > Product details > Recommendations tab.

IT Asset Management
IT Asset Management released the following features and enhancements in October 2025.
Jamf Adapter
This feature is available with IT Asset Management.
The Jamf Adapter, developed by Flexera, enables the collection of inventory data from both Jamf Cloud and Jamf On-Premises environments. This data is imported into IT Asset Management, allowing organizations that use Jamf to manage macOS devices to seamlessly integrate their inventory with IT Asset Management.
The collected data provides visibility into hardware details, installer evidence, and WMI evidence for each managed macOS device in the Jamf environment. It is synchronized with Flexera's asset management ecosystem to ensure accurate tracking, improved compliance, and reliable license consumption calculations.
For more information, see Jamf Adapter in the Inventory Adapters and Connectors Reference.
Enhanced reporting for installed applications on containers
This enhancement is available with IT Asset Management.
This enhancement introduces two key improvements for container reporting: support for containers and related data in Report Builder, and a new built-in report called Container Installation Details Report.
Previously, reporting on containers was limited to container images and basic installation counts, offering limited visibility into container usage. This enhancement significantly expands reporting capabilities for installed applications on containers within IT Asset Management. Running the Container Installation Details report gives you a clear view of application installations, along with contextual information about the container in which each installation was discovered.
Three new objects, along with their basic properties (new columns in the Report Builder), have been added to the Report Builder. These allow you to create custom reports focused on installed applications on containers and related data. As with other custom reports, you can combine these new objects with existing ones such as Allocations and Assets.
The new reporting objects and columns include:
- Container: Container instance ID, Name, Status
- Container image: Image ID, Last used date, Repository tags
- Container pod: Container pod ID, Name, Namespace, Status, UID
For more information on creating custom reports, see Creating a Custom Report. For details about the Container Installation Details Report, see Container Installation Details Report.
In Transit added to the list of hardware statuses
This enhancement is available with IT Asset Management.
A new hardware status, In Transit, has been added to the existing list of hardware statuses in IT Asset Management. This expands the current list, which includes statuses such as Disposed, Purchased, and Installed, to better reflect the movement and tracking of hardware assets.
The In Transit status applies when a technician at one location prepares an asset for an end user at a different location. After configuration, the asset is shipped to either the user's home or their local office. While the asset is in transit, its status will be marked as In Transit.
Nutanix Prism/AHV integration improvements
This enhancement is available with IT Asset Management.
IT Asset Management has significantly enhanced the Nutanix Prism/AHV integration to improve performance, reduce system load, and streamline maintainability, while preserving functional accuracy.
Key enhancements include:
-
Redundant processing eliminated: API logic has been restructured to remove duplicate calls, ensuring data is fetched once and reused throughout the request cycle.
-
Inventory collection optimized: Inventory workflows have been refined to improve responsiveness and reduce overhead during integration processes.
-
Powered-off VM handling: Hardware inventory collection for powered-off AHV virtual machines will be excluded to prevent unintended impact on Flexera device licensing, which is based on active client/server nodes. Software inventory retrieval from powered-off VMs will also be prevented, even if the agent is present.
-
Code structure refactored: The integration codebase has been simplified to reduce complexity and improve long-term maintainability.
Enhancement of the Active Directory (AD) user import and reconciliation process
This enhancement is available with IT Asset Management.
The Active Directory (AD) user import and reconciliation process in IT Asset Management has been enhanced to improve reliability, scalability, and performance, especially benefiting customers who actively use AD imports.
Key enhancements include:
-
Optimized reconciliation logic and reduced cursor usage, resulting in a more efficient and maintainable integration pipeline.
-
Resolution of multiple issues and errors previously encountered during AD import operations.
These enhancements represent a significant step forward in ensuring smoother, faster, and more dependable AD integrations.
