Create a Contract

There are three paths to defining a new contract.

Do either of the following:

  • Create a contract using AI ingestion by clicking the Create with AI button. AI ingestion is an automated process that ingests and processes original contract documents. Contracts created through AI ingestion are available on the All Contracts page and are marked with an AI tag. For detailed instructions on creating a contract with AI ingestion, see Create a Contract using AI Ingestion.

  • Above a list of contracts (such as the All Contracts list), click the Create a contract button.

    A list of contract types appears below the button. Click the type of contract. The properties page for the contract opens (see The General Tab (Contracts)).

  • In the navigation bar, choose Procurement > Create a Contract (in the Contracts group).

    The Create a Contract page appears, containing a drop-down list for the Contract type. Choose the type of contract. The properties page for the contract opens (see The General Tab (Contracts)).
