Deleting a Child Organization

You can delete a child organization permanently from the parent organization. However, if a child organization has their own child organizations, you cannot delete them.

tip

You can view which customers have child organizations on the Customers Overview page, in the Tiered column. This information also appears in the Customer Details tab for each customer.

note

If your child organization has the Flexera Cloud Spend Management and Flexera Policies capabilities, you must remove bill connections and applied policies before a child organization can be deleted.

To delete child organizations:

  1. Select Customers from the left-hand navigational panel. The Customers Overview page opens, listing all the child organizations.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • If you want to delete a single child organization, select the check box for the customer, and then click Delete, which appears above the table, or click the three dots to the right of that customer, and click Delete.
    • If you want to delete multiple child organizations, select the check boxes next to the names of the child organizations that you want to delete, and then click Delete, which appears above the table.
    note

    Consider the following:

    • You can delete up to 100 child organizations at a time.
    • If you want to clear all selected entries on all pages, click Clear Selection, which appears above the table.
    • If you use the check box at the top of the table, you select or clear only the customers shown on the current page, not the entire list of customers. To change how many customers are shown on each page, use the Items per page dropdown list at the lower-left corner of the table.

The Confirm Deletion slideout opens, listing the customers that will be deleted.

3.Click Next. The Confirm Deletion slideout reopens. 4. Enter delete in the text box, and click Confirm Deletion.

The child organizations are permanently deleted.
