Allocation reason

Documents the reason why a user or device has been allocated to a license.

You can edit the allocation reason inline. If an allocation already exists, the allocation reason is added to the allocation after it is entered. If no allocation exists, an allocation will be created after the allocation reason is entered. The default allocation type will be applied - Allocated.

The Allocation reason can be added and edited in the Consumption tab of a license, and the Apply Allocation & Exemptions allocate wizard.
