Applications Tab
The Applications tab lists the software applications installed on the remote device. For more information about using lists, filters and other UI options, see the topics under Using Lists
The following table displays the application properties in an alphabetical order. Some of these properties are displayed by default whereas others are available through the Choose columns option:

Field | Description |

Access mode | The method that this device uses to access a software application. This field can have one of the following values:

Category | The broad function of the application, by default from the UN Standard Products and Services Code. |
Classification | The type of software, especially as it relates to licensing (freeware, commercial, component, and so on). |
Device name | The name of the inventory device. The compliance calculation updates this field with the machine name returned in inventory (matched by several properties, including serial number). Tip: The name displays as Flexera SaaS Manager if this is a dummy device record created for imports from your Flexera One SaaS Management connector. |
Edition | The edition of an application, as specified by the publisher of this application. Note: Many applications do not specify an edition. |
Extended | Displays Yes when the application originated in the Application Recognition Library, but someone in your enterprise has added extra evidence to the application definition. A No means the application comes from the Application Recognition Library and is unchanged. |
Flexera ID | A generated code that uniquely identifies all application records, and can be used for integration between products from Flexera. |
Last used date | If reported by an inventory tool, this column contains the last date when this application was used. The column is blank when either:

License name | The license name may be:

Name | The application's name, which may be:

Product | The basic name of the application, excluding the publisher and references to versions or editions. This field displays the value Multiple products for multi-product licenses that have multiple primary products. See Multi-Product License. |
Publisher | The name of the publisher of this software, responsible for its development and distribution. |
Source | The origin of an application record:

Suite | Displays Yes if this application is a suite (that is, contains child applications), and otherwise No. Remember that a non-suite (has no children) may itself be a member of a suite. For example, Adobe Creative Suite— is a suite, Adobe Photoshop is not, and Photoshop can be a member of Creative Suite. |
Version | The release number (or release identifier) of an application. |
You can select any application record and click Open to view the Application Properties for the selected application. You can also click the Product link to view the application properties.
