Copying or Modifying a Target

You can modify an existing target. You can also copy an existing target to create a new target.

To copy or modify a target:

  1. Search for the Discovery and Inventory Rules page.

    The Discovery and Inventory Rules page lists the existing discovery and inventory rules.

  2. Click the Targets tab.

  3. Do either of the following:

    1. Editing a target: To modify a target, click its edit icon, change the target's properties, and click Save.
    2. Copying a target: To copy a target with a new name, click its copy icon, and click Create.

  4. When you have finished editing the properties, click Close to return to the list of targets.
