Oracle Users Tab
The Oracle Users tab on the Oracle Instance Properties displays a list of Oracle users for this Oracle instance. This page enables you to perform the following actions on Oracle user records:

Search for an Oracle user: For more information about using lists, filters, and other UI options, see the topics under Using Lists.

Add an Oracle user: Search the desired user and select the user record. Click Add Oracle user to add the user to this Oracle instance.

Create an Oracle user: Click Create an Oracle user, enter the user Name and Quantity of licenses and click Add.

Update an Oracle user: Select any user record and click Open. Update the details and click Update.

Remove an Oracle user: Select any user record and click Remove.
The following Oracle user properties are available for display:
Property | Description |

Account status | The status of the Oracle user account. For the list of all possible values, refer to the Oracle Database Reference. Note: When an account is expired, the license quantity will be set to 0. |
Oracle user name | The name of the Oracle user. Editable in the Oracle users section of the Oracle Instance Properties page. |
Quantity | The number of licenses consumed by this user. Editable in the Oracle userssection of the Oracle Instance Properties page. |
IT Asset Management automatically exempts the standard Oracle named users from consuming licenses on Oracle instances. The Appendix: Oracle Standard Users Exempted From Consuming Licenses in the Oracle Discovery and Inventory chapter of IT Asset Management System Reference lists these standard users.
