Guided Onboarding Experience
When you log in to the Flexera platform for the first time as a Cloud Cost Optimization customer, you are guided through a simple onboarding experience designed to help you quickly configure the key components required to start managing and optimizing your cloud costs.
Welcome Screen
When you log in for the first time, a Welcome screen appears introducing the Flexera platform. This screen provides a brief overview of Flexera capabilities and Cookie consent options required for platform functionality.
Cookie Consent
You are asked to choose one of the following options:
- Allow cookies — Enables full platform functionality and analytics.
- Decline — Limits certain tracking features.
After you make a selection, you proceed to the Getting Started dashboard.
Getting Started Dashboard
After seeing the Welcome page and completing Cookie Consent settings, you are presented with a number of onboarding cards on the Getting Started page. These cards present an onboarding flow to help you more quickly get results from Flexera One's Cloud Cost Optimization capabilities:
- Connect Cloud Data—connects your cloud accounts. See Connecting Cloud Data.
- Set Up Billing Centers—defines billing centers so that you can allocate cloud costs across business units—organizing cloud spending by teams, departments, or applications. See Setting Up Billing Centers.
- Set Up Custom Taggingconfigures custom tags for better cost visibility. See Setting Up Custom Tagging.
Each card includes a Start button that launches the corresponding configuration workflow.
Completing these steps ensures that Flexera can properly collect, organize, and analyze your cloud usage and cost data.
