Data Imports

The Data Inputs page lets you manage connections for gathering data, including hardware and software inventory from your computer systems, and the additional business-related information that contributes to calculations of your license position.

You can:

• Manage existing connections, including those set up remotely on your inventory beacons (see Inventory Data Tab)

• Perform a one-off upload of spreadsheet data, either for inventory or business data (see Inventory Data One-Off Upload Page or Business Data Tab)

• Start the process of deploying a new inventory beacon (see Downloading and Installing the FlexNet Beacon Software)

• Download the FlexNet Inventory Agent for times when you want to deploy it manually (instead of using the automatic adoption method, where an inventory beacon installs the FlexNet Inventory Agent on targeted computers) (see Inventory Data Tab).
